Introduction to Epidemiology

The European Programme for Intervention Epidemiology Training (EPIET; http://www.epiet.org) organises every year introductory courses for each new cohort of EPIET fellows.

These introductory courses have achieved very high quality thanks to the contribution of many senior field epidemiologists from EU institutions. Courses are popular and provide an efficient interactive training.

EPIET introductory courses are mainly restricted to newly recruited EPIET and selected Field Epidemiology Training Programme (FETP) fellows.
Therefore, for the second year, ECDC is organising  an training course targeting non-EPIET participants from the European Union/European Economic Area Member States. This course co-funded by ECDC and  the "Fondation Merieux", has been named IntoEpi by participants.
